SplashEd Swim School was created out of a desire to help children overcome their fear of the water and learn how to swim in a fun and safe environment.

The name SplashEd comes from a moment where a very good friend Angela asked me to teach her daughter Imogen to swim, after I had taken a break. At first, I said no (the fear of failure overwhelming), but she kept asking and even helped me come up with the name SplashEd, which is literally 'Splash' and 'Education' combined. Now we are solid team of 8 with classes running 7 days a week.

Our mission is to teach children how to swim with confidence and respect for the water.

At SplashEd Swim School, we are proud to have a team of incredible and highly qualified experts who are devoted to making your child's swimming experience fun and rewarding. Our team is at the heart of SplashEd, and every member is DBS checked to ensure your child's safety and peace of mind.

OWNERS

WALLEED & DONNA

Our founders, married parents to 7 children, are not only seasoned STA qualified teachers, but also qualified Sta Tutors. Often travelling the country to tutor prospective swimming teachers in the Award, Certificate, Baby & Preschool, Sat, Award in Teaching Disability Swimming and Mermaid and Monofin. "Together with our team of passionate and experienced instructors, we strive to create an atmosphere that encourages learning, growth, and success in the water. We are committed to providing top-quality instruction, individualised attention, and a supportive and encouraging environment that fosters a love of swimming and a sense of personal accomplishment."

DEÉNNA

Deénna, is known for her supportive approach towards children when learning to swim. Her nurturing personality helps children feel safe in the water, especially if they are nervous or anxious. Her empathetic nature makes it easy for her to understand their fears and teach them how to overcome them. She's also an expert in Adult and child lessons, making the learning experience enjoyable and creating special bonding moments between the adult and child.

NAOMI

Naomi is a a former primary school teacher turned swimming teacher at SplashEd Swim School. She brings her experience in curriculum-based learning to the pool, and loves to create fun and engaging themed lessons that incorporate important swimming skills especially for younger swimmers. She is always smiling and happy, and makes sure her swimmers feel supported and comfortable in the water. Her nurturing, loving personality is a joy in the teaching environment.

MATTONNA

Mattonna, her student's call her Toni for short is a friendly and engaging swim teacher at SplashEd Swim School. As a type 1 diabetic Toni believes that swimming is an excellent way to stay fit and healthy, while also learning valuable life skills. She is committed to providing innovative and enjoyable swim lessons for all of our students, no matter their skill level. Her friendly child led approach encourages progression and development especially with non swimmers and beginner swimmers.

ROSIE

Rosie and is a highly experienced swimmer with a passion for teaching children and adults to swim. As a former club swimmer, she understands the importance of being precise and practicing good technique to achieve higher levels of swimming. She takes great pride in providing high quality lessons to help her students become confident and skilled swimmers. Rosie has great technical knowledge to support the progression through the Learn To Swim Frame Work.

LUCY

Lucy brings years of knowledge and expertise to the pool from the classroom. As a teacher with several years of experience in the secondary school system, she has the skills necessary to help students of all ages and abilities excel in their swimming As a swimming teacher she has a reputation for providing legible instructions that help our students thrive in the water. She teaches with progressive repetition in an environment her students thrive in.

Saeed is a versatile teacher with experience in both swimming and boxing. He has a passion for teaching children and has worked with kids of all abilities, including those with special needs. With his background as an amateur boxer, Saeed brings a unique perspective to his teaching style that emphasizes discipline, technique, and fun
